The City of Mill City contracts with the Linn County Sheriff's Office for law enforcement. The Sheriff's office maintains a Mill City Substation at City Hall; 444 S 1st Avenue in Mill City.

If you have a non emergency need to speak with a deputy, please call dispatch at the business number listed below. A dispatcher will send out a deputy a quickly as they are available. Please remember that Mill City only contracts for a portion of each deputy's time. In effect, each deputy assigned to Mill City also must cover the entire North County from Scio, Lyons and Mill City to as far out as Jefferson and the surrounding areas.  Linn County Sheriff's Office has committed to serving our community and will do so in the timeliest manner possible.
