Finance Department

The City Finance Department is run by Finance Clerk Lacy Classen.  Lacy joined the City of Mill City on July 1, 2020.

Budget decisions are made by the City Council, acting on the recommendations of the City Budget Committee, which meets in a series of public meetings each spring to approve the next fiscal year's budget. The fiscal year is July 1st through June 30th each year. 

If you are unable to make the in person meeting, a conference line is available to call in. To participate, call 503-769-2200. When prompted, enter the five (5) digit PIN: 83035. The conference line is silent until other participants enter.

Occasionally, a virtual meeting option is offered to participate. Should this be the case, notification of a virtual meeting will be advertised in advance to allow requests for the meeting login information to be provided.

Copies of the budget documents are available under 'Documents', or copies can be purchased for copying costs at City Hall.
